The Fisher DVC6200 series valve positioner is an electrical positioner based on a communication microcontroller. In addition to its traditional function of converting input current data into pneumatic voltage, the DVC6200 digital valve controller also uses the HART communication protocol to allow users to easily access important information about process control. Users can obtain key components of the process and information about the pressure regulating network itself by connecting the positioner to the terminal block or field wiring box with a portable device, or using an indoor PC or operator control panel. In addition, it also provides an optional position sensor transmitter (for independent valve position feedback) and an integrated limit switch (which can be set as a limit switch or alarm switch).
The DVC6200 digital valve controller or DVC6215 feedback module can also be placed on many actuators that meet the EC 60534-6-1, IEC 60534-6-2, VDI VDE 3845 and NAMUR installation specifications.
