Actuators are available with or without positioners and dampers, and in a variety of sizes, travel speeds, thrusts, and strokes to handle most control requirements.
Unbracketed construction allows for flat-surface assembly with close coupling to the control device; these actuators can be bracket mounted or, for some versions, mounted directly to the bonnet flange.
The cylinder (and 3570 positioner if used) can be operated with supply pressures as low as 2.4 bar (35 psig) or as high as 10.3 bar (150 psig).
Actuators are rated for maximum stroke up to 206 mm (8.125 in).
Positioner/actuator operation is reversible in the field, with no additional parts required. Positioner sensitivity, travel range, and start of travel are factory set and only require resetting if operating conditions change or positioner operation is reversed.
