FISHER 167DA-85 is a three-way pneumatic switching valve designed for high-pressure control and switching applications in industrial pneumatic control systems. Manufactured by Emerson, this valve is specifically engineered for lock-up (LOC) functionality, maintaining or switching pneumatic pressure states to provide fail-safe protection for control valve actuators when instrument air supply is interrupted or falls below the setpoint.
The 167DA-85 features a compact design with port connections of 1/4 or 1/2 NPT for ports A and C, and 1/4 NPT for the vent and control pressure port D and port B. It has a maximum inlet pressure of 400 psig (27.6 bar) with a maximum supply pressure of 125 psi. The spring A/C pressure range is 40-125 psi, while the spring B pressure range is 40-90 psi, allowing flexible configuration for various application requirements.
Key features include internal pressure sensing for simplified installation, easy and accurate adjustment, and durable construction with corrosion-resistant fasteners. The temperature capability ranges from -29°C to 82°C (-20°F to 180°F) with standard bolts, and down to -40°C (-40°F) with optional stainless steel bolts.
